Beside the Patient was created by Michelle De Long and Catherine Dolf. Michelle is an Emmy Award winning producer and editor and she is the President and Founder of Mimi Productions. She spent 15 years at NBC News in the beginning of her career and that’s where she meet Catherine. Catherine is a seasoned on air reporter, news anchor, news producer/writer and Media relations and communications specialist, her company Dolf Communications helps people and companies navigate traditional and social media as well as train them to appear on TV news, radio and in podcasts.
Michelle and Catherine both have challenging healthcare journeys. With their media experience, especially in the field of healthcare, they hope to educate people to be better informed about their health.
